Level up your Lift, develop your technique and learn the theory

Our ‘Level up your Lift’ is an 8 week, small-group course designed to help you improve your technique, and to help you get the most out of your time in the gym by understanding some of the program practice theory we apply.

Learn and Lift

Each session involves a short presentation then a workout that builds progressively over the course.

Some of the topics we delve into are:

  • Core training – different types, what and why. Required to build a solid foundation.
  • How the body gets stronger – the most effective way to train for strength
  • How hard do you need to work to get results? Reps in reserve and RPE
  • How to adapt your program to do at home
  • Effective bracing – how and why?
  • Pelvic health – why is it important, how to train and get results 
  • How to safely fail lifts 
  • Effective spotting for safety 
  • Effective program management – linear and double progression
