Small Group Weightlifting at EDGE will help you develop and improve your weightlifting, and have fun at the same time!
The group is for people who already have some weightlifting experience, if you are a complete beginner you should consider our Weightlifting for Beginners course before joining small groups
what will the sessions be like?
You will be coached to have a good understanding of how the key positions feel, and how to move in and out of them slowly, then we will increase speed. When you are comfortable with that, we will add load to your lifts.
Throughout all of this you will be supported and guided by British Weightlifting qualified coaches.
You will be encouraged to take videos of your lifts so that we can analyse them with you, to help you learn to analyse them yourself, so that you can then also practice independently.

Small group weightlifting is run in line with school terms, so are normally 6-8 weeks.
