Develop your knowledge and technique to get the most out of the gym and your training programs.
Aimed at anyone that has completed our learn to lift course or people who have some experience using free weights.
This course can be done independently or alongside any other training you do.
This is for you if:
- you have some experience using free weights but are ready to move to a structured program where you track your lifts to ensure you are making progress.
- you train or want to training independently and want to learn how to safely bail lifts
- you want to learn how to adapt sessions so you can do them at home or with a different set up eg a hotel or work gym with limited equipment.
- you want a better understanding of how to use the program to continue making progress
- you would like more time to spend on personalised set-up for the compound lifts, perhaps to work around injuries or limitations.
Some topics the course will cover:
- How hard do you need to work to get results? Reps in reserve and RPE
- How to adapt your program for at home
- Effective bracing – how and why
- How to safely fail lifts
- Effective spotting for safety
- Effective program management – linear and double progression
- Core training – different types, what and why.
