An 8 week course designed to do two things
- Develop your technique in the gym
- Understand some of the theory around program practices so you can get the most out of your time in the gym.
Each session involves a short ‘lecture’ then a workout that builds progressively over the course.
Some of the topics we delve into include
- How the body gets stronger – the most effective way to train for strength
- How hard do you need to work to get results? Reps in reserve and RPE
- How to adapt your program to do at home
- Effective bracing – how and why?
- Pelvic health – why is it important, how to train and get results
- How to safely fail lifts
- Effective spotting for safety
- Effective program management – linear and double progression
- Core training – different types, what and why.
