Level up your Lift

An 8 week course designed to do two things

  1. Develop your technique in the gym
  2. Understand some of the theory around program practices so you can get the most out of your time in the gym.

Each session involves a short ‘lecture’ then a workout that builds progressively over the course.

Some of the topics we delve into include

  • How the body gets stronger – the most effective way to train for strength
  • How hard do you need to work to get results? Reps in reserve and RPE
  • How to adapt your program to do at home
  • Effective bracing – how and why?
  • Pelvic health – why is it important, how to train and get results 
  • How to safely fail lifts 
  • Effective spotting for safety 
  • Effective program management – linear and double progression 
  • Core training – different types, what and why.
