Nutrition Seminars

EDGE nutrition seminars include:

  • Nutrition 1 – Understanding your needs
  • Nutrition 2 – Sustainable Nutrition: Skills for Lasting Healthy Habits

Each seminar is designed and delivered in two distinct parts to give you the best chance for success:

Part A: Knowledge and Insight £30

This initial session is a focused talk, often with activities, where we share information, practical advice and you’ll gain a clear understanding of key principles.

Part B: Application and Support £20

Held a couple of weeks after Part A, this follow-up session provides an opportunity to reflect on what you’ve learned and how you’ve applied it. We’ll catch up on your progress, address any challenges you’ve faced, and help you solidify new habits.

This two-part structure ensures you not only receive the information but also get the crucial support needed to integrate it effectively into your daily life.

Nutrition 1- Understanding your needs

This session offers a clear and insightful look at our fundamental nutritional needs and how they can be tailored to your individual likes and dislikes.

My goal is for you to leave with a practical plan and actionable ideas you can implement immediately.

This is for you if you are looking to understand what your body needs to thrive.

Perhaps you know you should be prioritising protein but are unsure of how much you need or what that looks like on a plate.

You might understand veggies and wholegrains give you fibre, but you are unsure why that is important or how much you need to avoid deficiency.

You may be looking for a way to get what you need without calorie counting and tracking your intake.

You might be looking to increase your awareness of the nutritional make up of foods – are nuts a good source of fat or protein? (FYI Nuts are an excellent source of healthy fats, fiber, and essential minerals. While they do contain some protein, a standard serving doesn’t offer a significant amount to be considered a primary protein source.)
